Booker being gone is a HUGE loss for BG..... A team you wouldn't dare pressure now becomes a team that wants to slow the pace of the game down. I predicted this.... Great win for Fern Creek! Keep your "Spirits" up Purples. You will be better in the long run after this loss.

Booker was out but so was Tre Hill, the number one player his class. I like BG team, but I knew they'd have trouble with Creek. When Creek "locks in" and just plays ball, they can beat any team in the state.

Agree that is a blow, but FC also lost one of their better players to a decision to transfer out of the program. So both teams were short handed in terms of the players they have played all their games to date. I no doubt believe the loss of Booker played into FC's ability to make BG turn the ball over 19 times. FC did a great job of speeding the pace and when they did BG did not look comfortable. If that is what FC can continue to do to teams, they could be a hard out. With 3 point shooter Tony Washington able to get hot at any time and a much improved Anthony Wales scoring like he did last night with 21 points and leading from the PG spot they have great guard play. Ahmad Price is a double double machine and the rest of the team is just playing so hard together. Good game by the Creek.

Tre Hill is not the #1 player in the 2018 class. Ahmad Price, Andrew Taylor, Trevon Faulkner, Steven Fitzgerald, Justin Mitchell, Mickey Pearson, Jalen Johnson, Shorty Cager and JJ Reed are all better (strictly my opinion) and after last night I would move Anthony Wales ahead of him as well.

Tre just hasn't developed like those other kids have. I was really impressed with Wales last night.

Really impressed by Creek last night. Their guards are all scrappy. They fight.

Hill is gone for good and it is clear that Fern Creek will be fine. BG lost a primary ball handler for the time being. Much bigger loss IMO.
