Ethan Haynes, Raymond Rogers, Ethan Robbins: Boone County High School Seniors

I wanted to give a shout out to these 3 seniors for Boone County. Iíve been able to watch them play for awhile now, especially this year since I have my son playing for Boone. I have gotten to watch them day in and day out. These 3 are playing extremely well and each is having a great senior season. Boone is greatly improved, and all of them have been consistent scorers for the team. Not many teams can boast three players who have each scored 30 or more points in a game this season. Ethan Haynes is a tremendous athlete, but because heís such a good athlete itís easy for people to overlook the fact that he is extremely fundamentally sound as a player, and he has become a deadly marksmen from long range. Raymond Rogers is a terrific point guard, one who never gets tired and has an extremely high motor, and a guard who has tremendous handles. Rogers also has one of the best, and quickest, 3 point shots in the region. Ethan Robbins has really come on as a scorer for Boone, and the big senior center has shown everyone how well he can score inside as well as from long range. His 40 point game the other night in the Henry County holiday tournament was a beauty to watch. ALL 3 of these young men are hard workers, they put the time in on their games and theyíve been tremendous leaders for Boone. Best of all is the fact that all 3 of them are upstanding people - you wonít find more respectful, considerate, humble young men than these 3. I know Haynes is getting looks from Division I programs, and his best basketball is still ahead of him, sky is the limit for him. Rogers and Robbins could be STEALS for several programs in the area. Would love to see these two also get the opportunity to play at the next level.

I'm glad to see the seniors having a great season . I know they were thrown into the fire early in their high school careers and have taken their lumps . Has Haynes received any offers yet ?

The three of them each averaged over 20 points per game in the 3 games in the Henry County Christmas tournament. Boone has already equaled last years win total, greatly improved team!
