    Dixie 72 Beechwood 48

Previously winless, and recently ranked at No. 13 in the 9th Region Week 2 Review, Dixie gets off the schneid with an impressive 24 point victory over the No. 7 ranked Beechwood Tigers who just the night before took in on the chin with a 16 point loss to the No. 6 ranked Newport Wildcats.

Things don't get any easier for the Tigers, or the Red Colonels as Beechwood travels to Independence to face the 5-0 Simon Kenton Pioneers this Friday night, and Dixie gets to show what they're made of at home Saturday night against the No. 1 ranked 10th Region team, the 5-1 Campbell Co. Camels.
