    Lafayette High School 1957 KHSAA STATE CHAMPIONS Also 1957 Mr.Basketball
    UK All SEC for 3 years UK All American
    1961 Drafted by Los Angeles Lakers
    UK HOF 2010 Kentucky High School HOF 2013
    *Has a 10th Region connection

    That was about the year I became a Wildcat fan and Billy Ray Lickert fan,loved Cawood Ledford's announcing. Not my school, but my sister got me hooked listening to Cawood Ledford on the radio,talk Kentucky Basketball. I loved to hear him call a game!

    William Grant had George Stone to Marshall in the mid 1960's. I think the MAC was D-1 in basketball but not sure.
