Danville picks up the road district win against the Rebels in dominating fashion. The Ads rolled from start to finish to pick up the 65-41 victory.

This was my first time seeing Danville and this is one of the more impressive Admiral teams that I have seen since I moved to this area. They can score inside and out. They dominate the glass. They have outstanding athleticism. They have height, length and quickness. They can defend with intensity whenever they want but most importantly, they play as a team.

If they can continue to play like this then they shouldn’t have too much trouble making the region finals.

Could be the best Danville team since 2001 when they made it to the Regional finals.

I'm excited about the chances of this Ads team, but in a one and done format (and a tough 45th district) I'll be nervous throughout February.

Did the starting point guard tear his ACL? I know he hasn’t played the last two games and only played part of game at Lincoln. I was told at he Boyle game that it was a possible tear.

This is what I've heard. I think the kid posted something on social media to this effect. I hate when kids seasons are ended prematurely by injury.

I hope Kavanaugh is ok, it would be so hard to see a Senior's season end this way.
Danville has some nice depth, but they would miss him greatly - assists aren't officially kept, but I'm pretty sure he would lead the team. He is so good at breaking down defenses off his penetration and is possibly their best on-ball defender.
