    Thanks Q for listening.

For as many starters that were out for both teams this was a hard fought game. HC really missed Niehaus at PG and NCC w/o Hall and Luken hurt. Was impressed with McDaniel for NCC and Zimmerman for HC. Both played great games.

    Unofficial from HC Radio -

    Holy Cross (9-7)
    Zimmerman 26, Knochelman 17, Schrand 12, Wahl 7, Gabbard 1.

    DNP - J. Niehaus, Wood

    NCC (8-8)
    McDaniel 17, Iles 10, Pangallo 8, Glaser 8, Jefferson 5, Gearding 3, Mullikin 2, Kremer 2.

    DNP - Hall, Posey, Luken

So what is the story with Posey? I have read on here several times that he was dressed, but did not play?

Sounds like NCC's missing players were a BIG factor. Missing a lot more than HC was. Sad they couldn't have played this important game with teams at full strength.

What’s wrong with Hall, Luken and Posey?

I can only speak for one.... Luken tweaked his recovering sprained ankle.

Just a minor thing but this was an OT game for whomever can change the score in the title.

Yes it was overtime. Holy Cross outscored NCC 12-4 in OT.

I hope both teams can get their starters back and healthy.

That stinks to not have NCC at the ALL A classic. That upper breacket was going to be loaded if all of the trams that were favored to make it actually did. NCC, UHA, and Lexington Christian.

I am not so sure Newport does not make that bracket just as loaded.....

No I mean Newport makes that state tourney bracket just as loaded as NCC did. Newport is a very strong team that can win it.

Holy Cross beat a very depleted NCC squad and they have not shown me anything that makes me think they are a state contender........No offense just an opinion.

Gotcha. Thanks. Yeah, they have some impressive wins. What's their story? Do they have a big man that controls things? Good guard play?
