That was a really fast start by CovCath. Ruthsatz had about 15 and Fredrick had about 10 in the first quarter.

I'd guess Fredrick ended up with over 30.

Aiden Ruthsatz was on FIRE in the 1st quarter, going for 14 of his 15 points for the game.

CJ Fredrick was on fire the entire game going for 11 in the 1st, 14 in the 2nd, 8 in the 3rd, and 2 more in the 4th to lead all scorers with 35.

Jake Walter got the "running clock" going with an alley-oop dunk on the first basket of the 3rd quarter, the big man finished with 13, 8 on dunks.

NewCath's Brennan Hall lead the Breds with 25.

Brennan Hall played very well tonight, I'm such a fan of that kid.

Ruthsatz can really stroke it when his feet are set.

CJ is a different animal. Just is. All 3 levels. If you ever wondered, "how is he so highly recruited", watch tonight's game. Just a different level of player, on both ends, than other kids. Really spectacular to watch.

Too much size in the paint for the much smaller Breds to overcome. Hard to compete with their size, and if they continue to shoot the way they did tonight......YIKES!!!!!!

Unless a team can get really hot from distance, it will be a long night for most teams. It's going to be really tough for any team in the 9th to challenge CovCath, especially once the Mayer's return.

Like the football team, this could be a special team for the Blue Colonels.

Can someone give us the name of the CovCath grad who played the National Anthem on the electric guitar ala Jimi Hendrix, he should travel from gym to gym doing it.

Just got a PM with the following..........Ryan Snyder played the Anthem tonight. He’s in the band “Borderline Something” with Ben Maile and Eric Torres who are also CCH grads. They’re playing in Nashville but will go on a 30 day tour next Spring.

Ryan Snyder, CovCath Grad ... member of the band, The Borderline Something, with two other CCH grads, Eric Torres and Ben Maile. The trio currently lives in Nashville chasing their dream. First album "Episode I" available on Spotify.

Cov Cath is pretty good. Three seniors were very tough for Colonels. Role players play their roles. Every time I watch Cov Cath I’m impressed with their passing and C.J. just makes the right plays. Jake Walter will play big minutes at Xavier make it down!

NCC isn't as deep as CCH so I think it hurts NCC more not Having Luken, Iles, and Posey.
