Key to beating Conner is to pressure their guards and create turnovers and Ryle doesnt have the defenders at that position to do that. Mays is all offense and Mullins doesnt get after as much on the defensive end as he does on offense.

Nice to see the Cougar sophomore tandem Hemmerich and Barker have nice games.

Ryan Smith is also underutilized on the block. He is 6'4 and athletic and they didnt use him the way they should have against the Birds. I wonder how he was used in this game.

Maybe it is about time for some coaching changes with the Ryle program. This program should be one of the top teams in the region every year and the job just isn't getting done.

Conner is using Drew Barker now to bring the ball up the floor. That eliminates the turnovers that kept Conner from getting into their offense. Plus he can knock down 3s. I think he had two last night.

Interesting they are hanging their hat on the sophomore. That speaks volumes to the type of player Barker must be. What was the deal with Price? He seemed to have a nice handle his Frosh/JV year last year.
