Video from Chris Jung on Edwards drive at the end of regulation. K.Ware was inches from winning the game for Hoptown.
@Greenvilleky I don't see where you think there was goaltending on Edwards drive.

I was mistaken. I thought it was a hoptown player who grabbed the net. The hoptown player did undercut the rebounder though.

County didn't play well after the first quarter. I think they will play better the next 3 times they play hoptown.

Hopkinsville's 35 game district winning streak snapped. The last lost they had in district play was Feb 22, 2011. Pretty impressive run.

Christian County now holds the cards in their hands.

I thought County played the best quarter they have all year in the first. I didn't think either team played real well after that. Hoptown half court D was better than County's but County players definitely had better control when it counted.
Edwards is simply a beast. These two teams are so evenly matched I expect the next three games to be as classic as this one was.
