CCH Has a New (Assistant) Basketball Coach
Former UK/Villanova/NBAer Michael Bradley is now officially helping out in Park Hills. Apparently he is married to a local gal and he offered up his services.
Welcome to the madness, Michael.

Great addition, but what CovCath REALLY needs right now is an Infectious Disease specialist.

Don't look for too many drastic chenges this year. Coach L needs to start him with the JV and Freshman to improve whats coming.
I look for drastic changes next year....

Everytime I hear that name, I think back to the only UK game I've been to. They were playing American Univ of Puerto Rico, he took the ball baseline and slammed it, swung on the rim, yelled and grabbed his "junk". The ref "T"'d him up and he went out of the game.

As I understand it, he is merely a guy with a professional background, who lives in the area, with an itch to get involved with a local high school basketball team, who sought out CovCath.

He just finished up playing overseas for a few years. He is married to a NDA grad, and they have recently moved here.

No, I know he was BigEast Player of the Year when he left a year early out of Villanova. He got his 3 year guaranteed contract because he was a 1st round pick.
He played for Philly for awhile but then went to Turkey and various other places before he hung it up this year. He has kids 3 kids now.

I think the real reason for his coming to CovCath is Coach L and his reputation as a great high school basketball coach and a outstanding human being. Coach Bradley could have chosen any school in NKy to help out at, but he sought out CovCath and Coach L.
Think about that if you would.....

Michael Bradley didn't seek out CCH.
I didn't know anything about Bradley coming to CCH, but I was in Park Hills while he was working out there a few years ago. He married Ellen Suetholtz, who is now Ellen Bradley, who went to NDA.
Michael Bradley was drafted in the 1st round by the Toronto Raptors. Now that his playing days are over, him and his bride have moved back to her hometown.
That's about all I know. But I do remember playing basketball up at CCH a few years back (when Bradley was still in the league) and us kicking him off of the court.

If he did not seek out CCH as everyone else wrote, then how did he end up there.
Is this Coach L admitting that he needs a little more help this year?
I'm not trying to throw fuel on the fire, but what traditionally has been a very fundamentally sound program looks like its running around helter skelter.
