Was going to post that one. Can't imagine he's going to stay.

Was told that he will be going back to philly. And that there may be a slight chance he ends up at one of the louisville schools. But the guy said it was 98% back to philly. And he is in the know in PCC

Makes sense. Stronger academic programs back in Philly.

So who's the favorite for the 54th District? Hazard? Buckhorn?

If Cordia was eligible to play postseason they would be the favorite to win region but since they aren't, wonder who the favorite is?

I have been told for the last few years he would have to leave his Sr year because of age. Is that the reason?

No . I think he just wanted a place that he feels will better develop him for college basketball

I heard about this last December while covering an event (Braxton wouldn't be at PCC his sr year)...didn't take the person serious because I figured PCC would run through the 14th his senior year and he'd want a chance to play at Rupp.

Good luck to Braxton. Great kid on and off the court and no doubt he will be great for Hargrave.

As far as Rupp, he made it as an 8th grader. I was surprised that he was back at PCC for his junior season honestly.

I personally would like to see Tobler end up at Clay County. That would be therr missing piece. A tough inside presence that will crash the boards. Smith and Farmer then add Tobler. That's a deadly combination IMO

    Is that a possibility?

This sure changes things in the 14th. Perry Central would have had a fairly easy route to the title with Beverly still there.

I suppose there's no clear choice now. The winner will probably come from either Hazard, Buckhorn, Knott, and maybe Perry. Cordia would be the top pick if they were allowed to play in the post season.

The region will be one of the weaker ones in the state----which it usually is anyway. The 14th rarely wins a game at the state tournament and hasn't won a state championship since 1956.
