The Polar Bears and the Juggernauts may not be the two best teams around, but they the two best names!

Looks like BC's kids are responding positively to the challenges they've faced on and off the court. As we know, when faced with "issues" and ineffectiveness, we either "step up" or run away. It appears BC is doing the former.

For those not familiar with the goings on in Brooksville can you give a little more detail as to "issues?"

The last couple of years, Bracken entered the post-season with momentum. Last year they had won 4 straight going into the District & the year before had won 6 of 7. Now they've won 3 consecutive & it's not unrealistic to see them winning their last 4. They'd have to win at Augusta & Bourbon County, while also holding court at home with Robertson & Model, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Polar Bears showed up at the Fieldhouse on the 23rd with a 7-game winning streak.

They are playing their best basketball of the season at the right time. They have a legitament chance of gettin to the region for the 3rd straight season.

The construction worker killed on the job at the Hopple Street overpass collapse was a resident of Brooksville who has children who attend BRacken County High School. His daughter is a freshman on the Girls Basketball team.
