Just going off his Twitter. No other details were given. I'll talk to him tomorrow and give updates.

Mason was 20 of 24 from the line.

Okay, so, I see that someone thinks that the officials are not to blame:

I for one was sitting in the arena astonished at how these officials handled this game. Hats off to Brossart for containing Pig, but one official stood out to me & he appearantly doesn't know the difference between a blocking foul & a charging foul.

From everyone I have talked to, they all said the game was poorly officiated & I agree, the 10th region refs are just as bad as SEC refs.

I also agree that the officials struggled a bit, but it was both ways. Good teams overcome adversity and some teams let it get to them. There was a lot of emotion in this game and when you have 2 of the top in the region, its gonna be a battle. The better team won on this night. No assistance needed from officials

It's always the refs fault when your team loses, right? Did everyone you talked to happen to live in Mason County//Maysville KY as well? Color me shocked.

Well, not everyone from Maysville, but I was told that Danny Weddle said the game was out lf control & that was the worst officiating crew he has seen in all his years.

I was present & no I am not pinning the loss to the officials, Brossart did an excellent job containing Pig, but the matter of the fact is:

    Pig should have played tonight.
Pig should not have gotten the first tech.

If that is accurate, and it well may be, if Danny felt that strongly about it, BUT that would be very out of character for him. I can hear him commenting that the game is out of control, but I would be very surprised if he stated the above about the "worse officiating crew he has seen in all his years."

That sounds more like something I might say.

I can report that the PC Boys team travels with a gallon ziplock bag of mixed candy, including Starburst. :sssh:
that bag is well traveled... I used to have dibs on the strawberry Starburst, but with my new position on the other side of the gym, it's hard to get them.

Is Lofton for Mason any relation to Chris Lofton?

He shoved, with two hands, another player in the chest, directly in front of an official....what exactly would the correct call have been in this case ?
