I'm just curious about what the biggest deficit is you've ever seen/heard of a team coming back from to win.

Corbin hosted Clay Co. back during Richie Farmer's senior season. Eddie Sutton was there that night. I think the Tigers were ranked #1 in the state. Clay jumped out to 30-pt. lead around halftime. Corbin miraculously cut the lead to 4pts late but Clay held on for the win.

In 2012 Covington Catholic grad Rick Shumate coached his South Dearborn High Knights to victory coming back from a 4th quarter 29 point deficit.

South Dearborn High School is located in Aurora, Indiana about 30 minutes west of the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area.

Previous to his coaching gig in Indiana he lead the Beechwood Tigers from the 35th District in the 9th Region to one of their first regional tourney visits in years.

In the early 2000's he was the assistant to his dad Jim Shumate at Scott High.

Last season he was an assistant to Ken Chevalier at Dixie Heights High School in the 9th Region.

Not sure where he is this season, or if he's coaching.

Somehow an Indiana school overcame 29-point, fourth quarter deficit to win

Saw Doss rally to beat Iroquois down by 17 with 2:40 to go in 2014. District semifinal game. KC Goodin's final season at Doss before he left for job with Happy Osborne at KWC. Game ended in regulation at Iroquois kid fouled a Doss kid on a 3 pointer, and he made all 3 FTs. Wildest 2:40 of basketball I've ever seen.

The only one I can think of is when Madisonville gave up a 21-point 3rd quarter lead at Hopkinsville...and lost the game 75-73.

It was 1997, and the Maroons were in the middle of an incredible up-and-down season. Was a 14-point underdog to Owensboro...but won 87-71 (the year Brandon Davenport was Mr. Basketball for the Red Devils.)

    Beat a 20-11 Paducah team by 7.

    Beat Evansville Harrison by 18.

But lost a regular season game to Hopkins County Central by 21...and ended up 12-16. It was only the 6th time in 37 years that Coach Don Parson had a losing record.

A month after the season ended, the Hall of Fame coach announced his retirement. At the time, he was the 4th winningest coach in Kentucky H.S. history.

Broadcaster it seems to me that in their last year West Hopkins was down 30 to Lyon County in the second half but came back to win. I will try to find out for sure, somewhere around 1995 I think.

Last night Fairdale was behind Valley by 24 points entering the 4th quarter.

The dawgs rallied from 24 pts down (72-48) to start the 4th quarter....final score Fairdale 100 Valley 98 in OT as Glenn Queen hit the winning basket at the buzzer. Huge win and comeback for Fairdale. Fairdale will be the #1 seed in the 21st district. PRP and Valley will have to play each other in the first rd.
Fairdale wins thier 10th game in a row. They were down 24 points going into the 4th quarter..

Markelo Sullivan has 22 in the 4th...six "3 pointers."

Glenn Queen hits a shot with 2 seconds to go in OT to bring home the victory for the Dawgs.
