Very interesting. His Bardstown group is way down this year, might be the time to make the move. He would work wonders with the talent at BGHS.

A lot of my BG folks felt like he would get the job.

Some may be surprised, perhaps expecting more of a "splash" hire compared to promoting within. In most senses, this is a completely natural move. Clubb has been a big part of the unprecedented success the Purple program has had in the last decade, and his hire is a step towards the continuity of the program. I am 100% certain he has the confidence of the players, and aside from maybe one year I thought he acquitted himself well at South. I still think they made a mistake in letting him go.

I have heard that Haworth interviewed monday or tuesday and wanted the job. I wonder if he is who leaked the info to Jung when he didn't get the job.

Hopefully our coach can now focus on the team for the rest of the off-season. It's been a bit of a circus this summer.

Clubb was the choice of Harmon and his family from all reports.

Not a big name but if the folks in BG like the hire I think that says a lot about the guy.

Sounds like if Harmon was a fan, it was the right move. Keeping Harmon in the program gives them the best chance for long term success.

Going to be interesting to see what this hire means for Harmon or if it's too late.
