    I couldn't agree more. You have to have the horses to win. Not a knock on any coach. If you have great talent you will win a bunch of games. I for one do not understand how coaches are held up on a pedestal.

    If we are talking about who gets the most out of the talent they have to play with. Steve Simpson gets a vote. Especially over the last 10 seasons or so. Talk about a team that never looks the part but then can go out and hang 80 points.

    Agreed. If the question were best programs, you could easily go with SC, CCH, and Trintiy.

    But SC has lost more than once with the best talent.

    And CCH has won primarily due to their talent.

    Trinity lost some big talent from last year and just won it all.

    Sullivan is the easily one of the best coaches in NKY.

    There are many others from across the state that that have won despite their talent.

    Hmm, this is an interesting take. Care to expound on this? They have undoubtedly had some decent players, one VERY GOOD one, but your "primarily due" inclusion is very interesting. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
