Tigers are shooting 49% on the season and Cooper 40%.

If the Tigers can shoot like that against Cooper Friday night.
    Beechwood 74-69

Going with Cooper by 8. My opinion...Coopers defense is to tough and it will bother Beechwood. If the game was @ Beechwood it might be different.

Cooper by 8-12. Something about Cooper 60-50.

Sully is great in these situations, he will make things very hard for Scotty.

Beechwood by 9 on the road. Coopers D is tough, but so is Beechwood. Beechwood has kids that can score from all angles. They play smart and efficient. They are a together-team.

If Beechwood beats Cooper at all, you have to like Coach Goetz's chances at finally making a regional. Even in a loss, which I expect, he has a great chance of getting the Tigers to BB&T!

The mis-perception is that its all about Scotty.
In fact, a lot of Draud's points come late in the game when the hay is already in the barn. This Beechwood team has a lot of "worker bees" that can carry them ouside of the point production of Scotty Draud.

Deathridge and Brannen are forces to be reckoned with. The size and girth of the Tigers causes less sturdy teams much consternation. With that being said I do expect the Jags to mach up well with the Tigers, which should produce a whale of a ballgame.

Going with Cooper in a close one. Will help being at home and looking for Michael Spencer and maybe Josh Baker to do some good banging inside and on the boards hopefully to neutralize some of the strength of Beechwood. They will need Walters, Houston and Deere to have a good shooting night but, as always, the name of the game for Coach Sully's Jags is defense and I expect tomorrow it will be cranked up a notch against a very good team. Should be the strongest test for Beechwood to date.

Beechwood is loaded now. They are the new NCC. They will win this game and I’m predicting they win the 9th region too.

Didn't they lose in the districts last year by about 50? So between last year and this year, the difference in CovCath and Beechwood is a 51 point swing?

I think some of the Beechwood-mania will be squelched a little after tomorrow night, not that there is any shame to losing to Sully's Jags out in Union. The hype around the Tigers is on full-tilt right now.
