Agree that Draud isn’t all they have. I believe people are not giving Beechwood enough credit. Win or lose tomorrow night, they are a team to be reckoned with. Goetz does a nice job as well. Often underrated. I think Beechwood has more fire power, but Cooper is at home. However, the difference for me is that while Cooper has a great defense, Beechwood is very solid/physical on D too. As previously stated, going with Beechwood in a stunner on the road. Cooper is an awfully tough place to win, but I think Beechwood can do it.

I tend to think it is simply some people trying to counter-balance the people giving them too much credit at this point.

I like him as a person a great deal, but the back of his baseball card is, at best, incomplete. I truly hope he is able to get this Beechwood team to the 9th Region Tourney this year -- he deserves to finally coach a game there. I know he'd love that!!

Totally the polar opposite. Some folks, like myself who have ties to local schools are giving them a ton of credit in Decembwe. We are talking about a school that has zero basketball history whatsoever, and we are in agreement that they are one of the top teams talent wise in the 9th. Not sure what you want to hear.

I'm not saying that Beechwood can not win this game, but I just don't think it will happen. I believe the Cooper the home court and experience will prevail in this one. Should be a nice game.

I agree...Sully always has a good game plan! I trust the process. If 1 or 2 guys for Sully aren't producing... he'll find others that will he's 9 guys deep. Defense wins ball games & Sully is a master & getting his guys to play hard nosed D!

Great test for Beechwood. I had them tabbed in my mind to pull this off after they handled Dixie on Tuesday, but now Campbell (who is very good) absolutely throttled Dixie. It makes me question how much I should read into that Tuesday score.

Beechwood is very talented and can light it up from 3-point land, that'll keep them in any game, but I'll see how they come out of tonight before I go handing out any further accolades.

My guess is Cooper by single digits, but would not be shocked to see the Tigers pull out a close one.

Cooper has too many weapons for the Tigers.

All 5 kids on the court at anytime can score for the Jags.

Beechwood has 2 kids that can hang with Cooper but the rest will struggle.

    Cooper by 10.

December basketball games usually don't do much for me, as they aren't a harbinger for what a team will look like in 2-3 months when it really counts. That being said, I am curious to see if Beechwood is ready to take another step in getting into the mix of the upper echelon of NKY.

Dixie played Beechwood in region, at Dixie. Dixie played Campbell out of region on the road.

Beechwood rolls Dixie by 30+ at Beechwood.

    Just something to consider.

A lot of CovCath on CovCath crime tonight: Deere and Spencer for Cooper vs Brannen for Beechwood. I wish I could be there.
