Big win. I believe this sets a record for wins in a season for Beechwood. Congratulations to Coach Goetz and the Tigers. Ironic that Coach Goetz gets the record setting win versus Holy Cross.

Yes, 23 win is the most in Beechwood history.

I would think this is the 1st out right district 35 regular season title for them too. Any know for sure?

Back when I played, if you went undefeated in regular season district game, you won’t be district and the # 1 seed.
Maybe it change, and you just get #1 seed.

Yeah in football you are considered district champ if you win the district in the regular season. In basketball it's just for seeding. Teams recognize winning the district tourney as the district champ and get the trophy to show it, and usually a date on their banner.
