He's OK and will be ready to go tomorrow. That was a scary fall, to be sure.

Always disappointing to bow out of a tournament of this caliber so close to making it to the finals, BUT Bardstown made us do some strange things, contested our shots, shot lights out themselves, and turned us back when we cut it to three at 51-48 with 1:10 to go.

We battled hard, tried to make up for early game inadequacies. Despite our woeful 8 for 25, we actually had a two-point advantage from the free-throw line - 8/25 to 6/13. Our 7 point third quarter (15-7) was equally responsible for our demise.
Coach Code said in his post-game interview following the Russell game that we would have to play one of our top three games of the season against Bardstown in order to win. We didn't! Congratulations and best of luck to Bardstown in the finals.

Hats off to our Brossart student sections, perhaps the best in the tournament, who turned our en-masse for all six of Brossart's games (Girls and Boys) in the tournament. You were terriffic. Love the fatheads!!!!

The final last year was insane, I expect this years final to be a heck of a game as well. Good luck to both teams.
