    Ballard 68 Eastern 66

Ballard just squeaks by Eastern 68-66 to remain undefeated against Kentucky teams.

The mighty mighty 7th. Good showing by Eastern. This may give them some much needed confidence.

Agreed. There are a lot of Louisville teams that the casual fan probably hasn't heard of (i.e., your St. Xavier, Waggener) that would win plenty of other regions. That's not even taking into account your Central & Manual teams that are up this year but have played in some big events. Even schools like Eastern and Male might not be having their best years in recent memory, but they still have plenty of talent.

Most fans in the State just see your Ballard and Trinity dominating teams at Rupp, but don't really have the kind of appreciation that they should for some of the teams (ex. 2010 Seneca) that they'd beaten along the way.

This was a rivery game. Eastern has some bad loses, this gives them some confidence that should continue to end of season on to the tournament.
