I was actually surprised to see KY Select play up, because I, too, would have loved to see the two teams matchup. I would say this Magic group played 15U because they already had a 16U team. KY Select proved they are very capable at any age group.
Having said that, I think KY Select would be the favorite because of their time together and how well they play together. The Magic win on paper with the amount of talent they have, but the chemistry of the Select would probably prevail.

Make that 11 kids get invited. Shane Hall (Johnson Central)and Justin Johnson (Sheldon Clark) both were invited.

Demling wrote about the 3 kids that made the camp all-star team including Hall.

I assume Hatton did not participate due to his ankle?

A couple of pieces from the ESPN.com recap.
"Surprise players
Shane Hall (Prestonsburg, Ky./ Johnson Central)
PF 6-8, 185 pounds
Hall is a highly competitive power forward who plays with great energy and urgency. He has a excellent basketball IQ as well. Hall is sneaky athletic and does a great job attacking the rim from the high post or along the baseline, where he will finish above the rim with a clear path. He uses his great hands to rebound and touch to finish through contact on a consistent basis. Eastern Kentucky and Purdue are checking out Hall so far.
Notes
• We were very impressed with the passing and ballhandling ability of lead guard Quentin Snider (Louisville, Ky./ Ballard), who can also knock down open jumpers.
• Undersized 6-5 forward Justin Johnson (Inez, Ky./ Sheldon Clark) simply wins you over the way he competes and gets things done on both ends of the floor. He won't wow you with athletic ability, but his consistent energy and effort will. He rebounds on both ends like a mad man at times by simply wanting the ball more. He has good hands and touch around the rim and finishes very well, although it is below the rim. He is blue collar and we appreciate the way he played."

How many kids from Indiana in the 2014 class played in the adidas Invitational? Did we get an early look into the 2014 Ky/In All star games? The bulk of that 2014 Ky All Star team plays for the adidas Invitational 15U Platinum Tourney champs. Just wondering how they fared against Indiana competition if they played against any.
Yes, I am itching to predict a sweep in 2014 if things stay the way they are.

Indiana's best 2014 players -- Trey Lyles, James Blackmon, Trevon Blueitt, Jajuan Lyle and some more -- all play for Spiece Indy Heat. They typically play up in 16U and did so in the Adidas Invitational. I think the Louisville Magic should do the same. No point in beating a team 133-21 while still pressing late in the game today.

It was obviously an awful. I just saw a couple of minutes late and didn't pay attention to the competition. I think they would fare well against 2013 competition, as long as they held their own on the glass. I haven't seen the Lyles kid as he took a break and didn't play in the Adidas Invitational, but from what I have heard he is very, very good and 6-8 so he would be a mismatch for the Magic. Those two teams would make a heck of a game.
