6th district
Per Kevin Patton of the Henderson Gleaner, tonight's game of Henderson @ Webster has been cancelled due to snow, and will not be made up. Giving Webster Co. it's first regular season district championship in forever. Congrats Trojans.Advertisement

Wonder how many others will end up like this with the weather issues early in the week.

How are these decisions made? I had to go to Providence this morning from Henderson on 41-A and it would be no problem whatsoever for Henderson to get to Webster County tonight. Why would you not play? To me it's a tainted championship. Settle it on the court. I heard at coffee this morning that there has been a departure from the Trojan squad. Is that true Cols 51?

Not sure about a departure, I haven't heard anything. I have always been under the impression that if school is cancelled due to weather then there are no games. Henderson cancelled school due to weather, Webster was already off school today due to Presidents' Day. So it appears to me not playing was more a result of the school cancellation at Henderson County.

Teams could have played tonight for the district championship but Webster has a policy of not playing games on Wednesday night but will forego that policy for the girls district championship on 2-24-16.
