    Beechwood - 48
    St. Henry - 47

CRU layup goes in and pops out at the buzzer to give the Tigers the win. Cameron Boyd led the Tigers with 17 points. Trevor Logue added 14. Beechwood hit 8 threes on the night led by Logue, who knocked down three.

Great win by Beechwood!!! Hasn't Boyd been getting some varsity run?

Great game...CRU were missing Bessler and Martin, but had two chances in the last ten seconds. Very evenly matched freshman teams.

In game 1 last night, after seeing both Conner and Cov Cath Frosh a couple times each, it looked like a good game for most of the 1st Period. Then, the wheels fell off for Conner. They were unable to score the ball, for the next three Periods. A complete blowout happened. Conner got open looks, lay ups, and fast break opportunities; I've never seen anything like it. Conner could not buy a basket and before they knew it, the game was lost.

In game 2, both Beechwood and St. Henry looked very efficient. A good game defensively by both, offensively by both, it's just that one team had to win and one had to lose. St. Henry is tall, long, and has some athletes in the Frosh and Soph class. Should be a few good years coming for the Cru. Beechwood was up 5 at the end and the Cru almost took it in the end.

Should be some good games in the semi-finals.

@The Double Deuce! Has he, yes! Enough, No! He has played very minimal! Very good athlete, scorer, teammate and will be future of Beechwood, would love to see him getting more time!

To your latter point, no doubt, he is a stud athlete, has been for many years, and I'm sure he will be a HUGE part of Beechwood's program over the next 3 years. Has always seemed like a nice young man, to boot.

Homes/SK and Ryle/Highlands today? Are these rematches from the regular season? If so, who won?
