Feb 17, 19, 05:58 PM #22Pegasus Sports will be broadcasting each and every game of the boys and girls 29th district basketball tournament next week.
After that, we will broadcast each and every game of the boys' and girls' 8th region basketball tournaments.
Each and every game - regardless of who's playing.
(Kind of like a European vacation....20 games in 11 days!)
The video will be live; we will go on the air thirty minutes prior to the tip of the first game each night. During the 29th district, that will be 5:30 pm ET. Note that the second game's "on-air" time may vary due to the time the first game takes.
To watch, go to The Pegasus Sports Network - PSN
Click on any of the school logos
Click on the triangular "play" symbol when it appears in the middle of the "TV Screen"
NOTE: The games are LIVE, but are also archived on the broadcast page (scroll down to see the icons) for one year after the game is played.
The video broadcast is FREE in standard definition. I apologize; the high definition version is $4.95 (charged by the company that streams the events on my behalf).
That said, I do like the HD version a LOT better.
Among the announcers who will be joining me in covering the district 29 / region 8:
Rob Burton - former boys' basketball coach at North Oldham
Jason Holland - former boys' coach at Oldham County and Montgomery County, and also former girls' coach at Shelby County
Tom Hawkins - former 8th region official
Frank Wright - former boys' coach at Mercer County and girls' coach at South Oldham and Ballard
Stephen Hall - college intern
Kevin Montgomery - intern
