1) Hazard (20-4): Hazard suffered they're first region loss two weeks ago but have since went on a 3 game win streak, picking up wins over Knott County Central in overtime 56-53, Leslie County 56-51 and Buckhorn 61-51. The region loss to Perry County Central has seemingly lit a fire under the Bulldogs, question is, can they keep it up? Tuesday vs. Cordia, Friday vs. Wolfe County and Saturday at North Laurel.

2) Knott County Central (17-5): The Patriots split they're two games last week, losing 56-53 in overtime to Hazard but would bounce back to defeat Wolfe County 80-72. The Patriots have a tough week ahead as they will be on the road all week, traveling to North Laurel on Tuesday, George Rogers Clark on Friday and Betsy Layne on Saturday.

3) Perry County Central (9-14): The Commodores dropped they're only game of the week 74-57 to Harlan Independent. The Commodores will travel to Owsley County on Tuesday and Leslie County on Thursday.

4) Buckhorn (12-13):
The Wildcats are on a roll, knocking off previous ranked #4 Estill County 71-59 in the middle of a 4 game win streak before last week's loss to Hazard 61-51. Can The Horn keep the momentum up this week? Monday at Morgan County, Tuesday vs. Wellspring Guardians Richmond Home School and Saturday vs. Heritage Academy.

5) Estill County (15-8): The Engineers have hit a snag and lost 3 straight. 71-59 at Buckhorn, 47-46 at Fleming County, 57-55 Breathitt County. Estill County has a tough week ahead as they will host Western Hills on Monday, travel to Montgomery County Tuesday, host Lee County on Friday and host Pendleton County on Saturday for senior night.

6) Wolfe County (16-7): The Wolves hit a snag in January but have seemingly for the time being got things straightened out winning 3 of they're last 4 games. Two of those came last week against Owsley County 60-53 and Lee County 72-32. The loss came at Knott County Central 80-72. The Wolves will host Powell County on Tuesday before traveling to Hazard on Friday.

7) Cordia (9-12):
No rust for the long term. The Lions played they're first game since the middle of January last week, defeating Oneida Baptist Institute 67-64. The Lions don't have to wait long until they're next game as they have several this coming week. Tuesday at Hazard, Thursday at Harlan, Saturday vs. Knox Central.

8) Breathitt County (10-13): Breathitt County seems to be playing better as of late, winning 3 of they're last 4 games. One of those wins coming against at Estill County 57-55. Breathitt County would go on the road Friday and defeat Russell County 64-60 but would fall to Clinton County on Saturday 66-44. Tuesday at Leslie County and Thursday at Letcher County Central.

9) Leslie County (9-14):
Leslie County had they're 3 game win streak snapped by Hazard 56-51 and are currently on a two game losing streak after last week's loss to Harlan 66-50. The Eagles will be home the rest of the season including this week's big games. Tuesday vs. Breathitt County, Thursday vs. Perry County Central and Saturday vs. Harlan.

10) Letcher County Central (4-15): The Cougars woes continue as they have now dropped 3 straight and are 1-9 since the new year rang in. Can the Cougars get things turned around and get momentum before district tournaments start?

11) Powell County (4-15): After defeating Owsley County a few days ago, the Pirates have since dropped two straight.

12) Owsley County (9-12): The Owls are 1-6 in they're last 7 games.

13) Jackson City (10-13): 5 of Jackson City's 10 wins have came within the last month. That's better than where they were through most of the season.

14) Lee County (4-19): After last week's two losses, the skid streak for Lee County has now reached 4 games and it doesn't look to get any easier the rest of the season.

15) June Buchanan (1-14): June Buchanan continues to fall as they have now dropped 7 straight. Their is one game that doesn't have a final score on they're schedule.
