It's getting close to the early signing period, so it will be interesting on the commitments.

Clint Tilford, a pitcher at Heath, has committed to Kentucky. He also visited Notre Dame, North Carolina and Arkansas and had offers from several other schools, including Louisville and Evansville.

He is around 6'-2" or 6'-3" and should have a good career under the instruction of Head Coach Cohen and Pitching Coach Henderson.

I would say he will be considered the hardest throwing high school pitcher in the state this year.

Tilford is about 6-3 and 175 ... lean body, long arms and a good all-around athlete and room for future development. He was consistently in the high 80s and hitting 90-91 on occasion during the spring. At the Area Code Games in North Carolina in August, he hit 92-93 a couple of times and retired all nine hitters he faced on the final day of the event. He's also a 4.0 student with a 27 ACT and seems intent on going to Kentucky.

My apologies to Tyler. I was having a brain freeze and could not think.
