Seeking Some Historical Help

Jim Swinford, the radio voice of the Harrison County Thorobreds, is working on collecting all of the box scores of all the state baseball tournament games since the tourney began in 1940. Going backwards, he's found all but four since the 1953 tourney. There are a couple of games for Newport and NewCath that he hasn’t been able to find. In 1955, Newport lost to Hall in the quarterfinals. In 1953, NewCath lost to Bardstown St. Joseph in the semi-finals.

Back when he was researching Harrison Co. basketball stats, there was a guy in Northern Kentucky who helped him out with some of those stats. He can’t remember his name, but he had an overwhelming amount of stats for every team in the Boone, Kenton and Campbell Co. areas. Does anyone know who that might be? He was hoping to contact him to see if he could help him find these box scores. OR might anyone else have access to that information?
