NCC jumped out early with 5 runs in the bottom of the first off Holy Cross starter Hunter Twehues. The Indians would come back off NCC starter Gunner Smith with 4 runs in the 2nd and 1 more in the 3rd to tie the game 5-5 heading into the bottom of the 3rd. The Breds then plated 3 more runs in the 3rd to regain the lead and would never look back. The Indians hurt themselves allowing 7 walks and committing 6 errors in the game. It was good to see the Holy Cross offense come alive early in the game after getting down 5-0 against a nice pitcher in Smith. Best of luck to both teams.
