Highlands 7 Tates Creek 6
The KHSBCA #5 ranked Bluebirds scored one run in the top of the 10th inning, then held on to defeat the #12 ranked Commodores.
Both schools continue Doc Morris Invitational play as part of a triple-header Saturday at Beechwood. Highlands, now on an eight game win streak, plays #17 Greenup Co. (12-2) at 11:00AM. Ethan Kavanaugh leads off the bottom of the 10th inning by stretching a single into a double. Kyle Winkler sac bunt to move Ethan to 3rd. Tates Creek intentionally walks Mason Schwalback and Joe Steiden to load the bases. Drew Rom drives one off the school building for the walkoff. Exciting game to watch!

Grand slam out of the park in the bottom of the tenth to end it? If that's the case, don't you count all 4 runs?
