Advance now is what each team wants to do. Way to go Cards, Who pitched for GRC?

Is Bell their number 1 pitcher?, because the one time I saw him this year(against Mason County), they hit him pretty good. Thought they may throw someone else today.

He's not really considered their number 1.

No he is not #1 pitcher, I would consider him our #3 pitcher.

See where Harrison Co won in 5 innings. Yes I would say we were saving our #1 pitcher for the #1 Harrison Co.

Congrats to Clark for avenging last years loss to the Camels. Camels finish 14-17, kinda disappointing, and first losing season since 2003, the year before Heringer was the coach of the Camels.

Not enough pitching for the Camels this year. Lost one pitcher before the season even started, then lost another one April 17th. Not knocking our pitchers, we just needed a couple more. That's one thing the former coach usually had plenty of, pitching. During that 2004 thru 2009 period there were some very good teams that didn't achieve as some thought they should. Wins and losses don't always tell the story. 14 -17, disappointing yes, 7 losses came with 2 or less runs scored by the Camels, hard to win consistently only scoring 1 or 2 runs a game in high school. There were some holes in their game this year for sure. Get'em next year Camels. Congratulations to the Cardinals.

Article in todays paper about the game:

    http://www.winchestersun.com/stories...spo.407262.sto

The Cardinals trailed 3-0 going into the sixth inning, but finished off a successful comeback in the bottom of the seventh when Anthony Withrow connected on a single with two outs that scored the tying and game-winning runs.

Bell went the distance and allowed three runs — one earned — and seven hits. Bell didn’t walk a batter and collected four strikeouts.
“He pitched a great game for us,” Clark coach Larry Allison said. “He is such a competitor and he kept us in the game.”

. Clark (29-9) will take on Harrison County at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the semifinals. The Thorobreds (30-4) earned a ticket to the semifinals following a 14-2 win over Maysville Saint Patrick in five innings.
