      Default Cavanaugh Trent named new head coach at Knott County Central

      Alice Lloyd head baseball coach, Scott Cornett is going to the high school ranks and taking over the Knott County Central position. This is the second Alice Lloyd coach to leave, Gary Hammond left to take over June Buchanan's head coaching position

      The Beastmaster is headed to Knott Central! In all seriousness, Cornett has been at ALC around 20 years. Seemed like a great guy when I was there. Wish him the best.

      Cavanaugh Trent...where did he go to high school? Did he play in the state tournament? I remember that name, but not sure from where.

      I remember him playing basketball at Dilce Combs in 1993, winning All A State.
