I think this is 3 in a row for Bellevue over the Breds. What is going on?

This year has been nice for Bellevue over their rivals. Beat Birds in basketball and NCC in baseball.

They have a very solid Sr class of athletes for a small school. Not to mention the programs you mentioned are somewhat down in their respective sports. NCC being down in baseball is somewhat surprising though.

NCC jumped out 1-0. Bellevue took a 2-1 lead after a Tate Grainger double. NCC scored three more in one inning to take a 4-2 lead. Bellevue put up three in top of sixth the go ahead run on a 2 out single by Briley Seiter.

Game ended on a 6-4-3 double play turned by Bellevue. Both teams got very good pitching. Bellevue from Tate Grainger and Nick Ackerson. NCC from Owen Workman and Nate Enslen. Two evenly matched teams who still have to play in a district seeding game. Would not be surprised whichever team wins in two weeks. Both teams had opportunities to put more runs up but could not quite get that one more hit. Zach Pangallo is a really nice fielding short stop for the Breds. Zach also has a really sweet swing. Drives the ball really well.

Bellevue catcher Brett Seiter threw two runners out stealing at second.

NCC followed this game up with a second game and I believe a win over St. Henry. Josh Schneider was on the mound for the victory in that one. He looked strong.
