Beechwood 5 Simon Kenton 4 (Frosh)

Baby Tigers improve to 12-0 on the season. Burch and Schlinger worked the hill for the Tigers and Cooper and Gangwish for the Pioneers. Timely last inning hitting propelled Beechwood.

Any other Frosh teams still undefeated?

No. Simon Kenton was 11-1 going into the game. I think Cov Cath only has one loss also.

Beechwood has a nice frosh team. Good pitching. Nice catcher. I have not watched either SK or CCH frosh.

Haven't seen cch yet, but Simon Kenton should have won this game. Cooper pitched a wonderful game. IMO the coach gave up on him a little early. Beechwood Frosh is a great fastball hitting team and the second pitcher SK brought it pitched a nice fastball.

The best frosh fastball I've seen this year is a tall, lanky kid from the Camels. Control is an issue but he can bring it.

I know who you are talking about. Like most hard throwers... they are either on or off.

    Gangwish can throw pretty good.

Birds just beat the Camels last night but I heard CC's pitcher was a man out there who threw hard. I'm guessing this is the same player. Birds lost to Ryle last week and I heard they were still undefeated.

Cov Cath frosh are 13-1 - lost to Ryle to open the season. They beat Ryle last Thursday by 3 or 4 runs. They play @ Beechwood today - 5pm.
