Will Secretary Flynn Survive - No

Rough week for Mr Flynn. Now reports say POTUS is evaluating the situation.

Other reports say DOJ warned POTUS that Flynn was putting himself in a compromising position with his communications with Russia prior to Jan 20.

    Does he survive this?

He has always seemed like a bit of a loose cannon to me.

I read that Pence may have directly questioned him about this during the transition. If he did and Flynn lied or was evasive to Pence, then he probably needs to move on.

It would be hard for me as President to trust him if he lied during the in house vetting prior to being nominated.

Michael Flynn has resigned, per CNN.

Got the answer to that one real quick, RESIGNED. How does David Petraeus sound? Is he legally eligible?

Not a shock here. The world was told about him long ago.

Do you believe that he acted on his own when talking to Russia?

    Probably.
If not why would he then 1) lie to Pence when questioned about it and 2) lose his job over it?

But according to Conway this morning he didn't "lose his job." He resigned. The President is loyal and has great confidence in him.

Technically, that's accurate is it not?
