Trump v. Megyn ... Who Do You Side With ?

Here's what started the animus between them, although I believe it goes even farther back than the debate.

Megyn: "You've called women you don't like fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals."

    Trump(interrupting): Only Rosie O'Donnell .

Megyn: "For the record , it was way beyond Rosie O'Donnell. Your Twitter account has several disparaging comments about women’s looks. You once told a contestant on the Celebrity Apprentice it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees. Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president? And how do you answer the charge from Hillary Clinton – that you are part of the war on women?"

Does Trump need to "man up " and face off with her or is he right to boycott the debate "starring Megyn Kelly" on Thursday? She hosted Michael Moore last night on The Kelly File" starring Megyn Kelly, " allowing Mike to saturate her with flattery for a half hour and dump on Trump. I bet the Donald knows now who he'd like to shoot. I can't think of two people who like to see and hear themselves on TV more than the Donald and the Megyn. Which one can you not get enough or have you had more than you can stand of both?

Sheesh. If Trump can't deal with Megyn Kelly, how is he going to deal with Putin?

Politically, the Trumpster is not going to lose any ground in the polls with this stunt. What also will be interesting is what kind of viewership drop will we see with Trump on the sidelines?

Here's how Trump makes sure this doesn't hurt him in the polls.

The strange history of the Trump-Kelly/Fox feud. Link below. It would appear that whoever wins the GOP nomination really needs to be a friend of Fox News. With Trump, not apparently so.

Glad he's boycotting this one, can't watch Fox News and this poor helpless woman anymore. Haven't for quite a while. Ailes needs to know the debate is NOT between Trump and the aggressive lawyer, Kelly. Give me a break, this woman has tortured witnesses on the stand. She doesn't need to pretend to hide behind the " Oh! He insulted my femininity."

And raise a boatload of money for wounded warriors. Definitely better idea, instead of listening to a bunch of pampered Republicans squabble about who's entitled for their turn at the Whitehouse, while none of them cares about our security which is the debate topic.

Did not know this, I see at least one candidate attacking Trump for not being there as he has no real ideas on national security and knows that he would fall flat in the debate.

I'm with Megyn. He also left himself open for Cruz to pounce. Cruz is going to be the winner of this dumb mistake.

While I think it would be a mistake for Donald not to show for the debate(We,ll see if that actually happens), I understand his frustration with moderators who think they are part of the debate process. They are not running for office, I couldn't care less about Kellys' opinion. Their job is to pose questions to the candidates, not to offer their opinions and banter with the parties on stage.

When we talk about the republican establishment trying to rid themselves of Trump, we should recognize that Fox News is a vital cog in the establishment wheel.

Maybe all the candidates could go on American Idol and we'll see who JLO gives the golden ticket to.
