Does Sarah Palin have that much influence? Is her influence worth more than her negatives? I read a report this morning that said she cost John McCain 2M votes in the election.

Jan 20, 16, 11:15 AM #23I just don't think people planning to vote for Trump are looking at it on a moderate to conservative scale. There isn't a whole lot to him that suggests he's a principled conservative. I think he's embodied a certain reactionary anger and his unwillingness to temper it with the realities of governing have catalyzed his supporters. To the extent that's correct, Palin (and her rambling, nonsensical speech last night) fits perfectly in that mold.

This GOP primary battle royale continues to amuse me from a PR standpoint. Whenever you think that Kasich or Jeb or Rubio or Rand might finally get a message or two out there, Trump says "I don't think so" and either (a) says something outrageous or (b) hauls out a clown like Palin to make sure the cameras remain on him.

Bottom line...Was he charged? Would that be a violent crime?
Lucky he didn't get shot by cops in today's hair trigger society .
