Remember When People Made Fun of Chelsea Clinton?

Who remembers people joking about Chelsea Clinton being an ugly child in the 90s?

I saw an interview with her this morning and she's turned into a beautiful young woman.

She has always been beautiful. Not many could appreciate it though. She has an uncommon grace and dignity about her that's been apparent even as a young child. Kudos to the Clinton's. They raised a great one.

It seems like Chelsea was photographed and in the media spotlight more so than other presidential children. For example, President Obama's daughters are rarely photographed. I also don't recall Bush's twin daughters in the media as much.
Anyone else think that too?

I remember Bush's daughters in the media. They had a lot of fun in college last I saw.

McCain and Bush's daughters work for the liberal media? Do their fathers know?

I don't find her attractive at all. To each his own I suppose.

While she turned out great, I always thought she went through a bad phase when she was first introduced to us all. I thought that at least as a little kid since she and I are about the same age. I would have to go back and revisit pictures.

She was 12. As a former 12 year old girl, I can say with certainty it is not the best time in our lives in terms of what society considers the standards of physical beauty. And don't even get me started on societal standards of beauty for females...

We have different definitions of beauty Clyde....

She does seem to have turned into a fine (although misguided politically ) young woman though.

Ok, now where's that picture of Amy Carter? Surely, she got a little better looking with age too, right?!

And I was about 10 or 11 at the time so I was scoping. Not the best time in my life either.

I wouldn't go as far as to say beautiful but she definitely finished better then she started.

This is how I feel too but I see Clyde's point, she was very unattractive growing up but now she is decent. It is all relative.

All kidding aside, I often see women I think are attractive that I am not the least bit attracted to. I am not trying to get into semantics other than to say we all have different tastes.

Either way, I think Chelsea is decent.

While I didn't find Chelsea very attractive back in the 90's, I thought the comedian, late night shows, etc., were cruel to her. I say this not being a fan of Bill Clinton.

Now the Gore daughters on the other hand were some nice looking ladies. I say this and I am not a fan AT ALL of Opportunistic Al.

Maybe she became a conservative and that explains it....

Well she's beautiful compared to what she used to be.

If the years have been kind to Chelsea they have been mean to her momma.
