This is the candidate I think has a really good chance to be a VP running mate. The other is Kasich.

How would she help? Other than adding a woman for the sake of being female, as a desperate attempt at attracting female voters, what benefit does she provide?

Do women even like her? Hillary has proven being a woman doesn't always assure the woman vote.

I think the female factor can be very big, especially if it is Trump running against Hillary.

If it's Trump running, you can forget about women even considering that ticket. You could have Mother Teresa as the running mate and it wouldn't help. Women aren't stupid. They aren't going to vote for a ticket for the sole purpose of their being a woman on it. The Republicans should have learned that lesson when McCain added Palin back in 2008.

I don't think the McCain-Palin example provides any guidance. Palin was such a horrible choice she would have doomed anyone

You've yet to explain what Fiorina would add to a ticket...

As I said above it is mainly because she is a qualified woman. She has been vetted through the political process of running for President and has handled herself extremely well in debates.

And the voting public would see it for exactly what it was. The Republicans thinking women are so feeble-minded that they'll just vote for any woman.

I think Trump should have Jeb as a vp running mate, and have him dress in a gimp outfit and hold him with a leash.

Kasich has already dispelled any notion of running for VP. Fiorina is not likeable as far as I see it and she doesn't identify with any target group (Southerners, West Coast, minorities, evangelicals, moderates, etc...) with the exception of the obvious, women, which I agree would be a stupid play. Fiorina won't steal many votes away from Hillary if people are looking to just vote for a woman. Now if it's Bernie, not just this but a lot of things get thrown to the wind and all bets are off.
