[QUOTE=rockmom;4573088]Well, millions will have health insurance that couldn't before. You know have the choice (if the KY ever gets it set up) to choose a more affordable option. Preventative care is now free for all, not just those who can afford insurance.

And those of us that work for a living are the one's paying for it.

Yup. Tuition, living expenses/rent, books. It's absurd how much any graduate program costs in this day and age.

His recent gun speech with the human shield is a perfect example. I truly believe that Obama is the most divisive president in my lifetime.
You weren't alive when Nixon was president then ?

My premiums have more than doubled. My take home pay will be reduced by close to $2,000 for the year. President Obama is a pathological liar.

Quit crying about it and don't blame the President , blame your insurance carrier . Sounds like you need to find a different insurance company .

Nope. The President swore that costs wouldn't go up, and that taxes wouldn't increase unless you were upper class. Both of mine have gone up. It's one of those things where if you repeat a lie enough, you start believing it to be true.

Glad you paid them off and kudos to you for graduating. However, most students and graduates are not in your shoes. There are simply not enough jobs for students graduating, they can't afford to pay their loans back, and that will eventually mean all that debt will eventually hit us.....hard. Its another bubble that will soon burst. Interest rates should be what the market dictates, not an artificial number set by the government. Interest rates have more power than people realize and when they are artificial and not sound, it causes chaos in the long run and creates bubbles.

Not to mention, the dramatic rise in tuition can be creditedto the government subsidizing college. It's not a good business to be in. Education is important for the well-being of our country but our current solution is more of a problem and hurting the young.

Serious question. If I remember correctly the claim made when the POTUS was selling his plan was a decrease of $2500 in premiums on average. Is there anything to support that has happened? Is that even what he said or am I misremembering.
