Fantasy Pick-Ups

This list has a lot of flavor. Whether you are in a standard, PPR, keeper, auction, or some combination of those, you'll find some variety and suggestions here. Feel free to list your own or your thoughts on those listed as well.

Some names that will be hot on the waiver wire this week:

Ronnie Hillman - RB - Denver
Juwan Thompson - RB - Denver
CJ Anderson - RB - Denver

In that order. Montee Ball is going to be out a few weeks and wasn't killing it before he went down. Too bad I have Ball in my big money league and spent too much on him in an auction format.

Branden Oliver - RB - San Diego
Nice minutes and did well with his opportunity last week against a better-than-most think Jets defense.

Antone Smith - RB - Atlanta
It could be only a matter of time before he takes over for Steven Jackson.

Jarius Wright - WR - Minnesota
His numbers with Bridgewater still give him some hope, especially if you are in a PPR format. Nothing guaranteed, but it's kind of like buying a lottery ticket.

Odell Beckham, Jr. - WR - New York Giants
Had a nice week last week and could be a viable option in a PPR/Keeper format.

Dwayne Allen - TE - Indianapolis Colts
Could be the next breakout tight end. Lots of talent and he's primed for a breakout. Look at his numbers through most of this season. People were expecting Fleener to be the TE to have because of the Stanford connection with Luck, but Allen is the more talented of the pair.

Larry Donnell - TE - New York Giants
There'll be some people who drop him because of a lackluster week, but if Travis Kelce of the Chiefs (who is a better add in PPR formats) is gone, then Donnell is a solid buy-low candidate.

    Back-Up QB Grab Bag:

    Teddy Bridgewater - Minnesota
    Brian Hoyer - Cleveland
    Austin Davis - St. Louis

Looking at their stats the past few weeks, they aren't necessarily the worst options to pick up if you're looking for a bye week fill-in and they have an opportunistic matchup on the table. As a bonus, Hoyer has two good match ups in Weeks 6 & 7. Additionally, he'll have Josh Gordon back at some point as well.

If Bridgewater is there, especially in keepers, then I'm taking him unless I have a stud QB that has already been past his bye and/or you have two solid QBs already and don't want to use the roster spot.

Dude, for real. You gotta quit all this. Too many of us are playing against each other. Some with money on the line. My competitors don't need or deserve easy access to information such as this.

Some of us are too far down on the waiver wire for any information to matter.

See, that's my point. I'm lower than you in the money league. I don't want anyone putting ideas in your head to take my requests.

Don't worry...I do my own research.

I'm not. You're behind me at the moment. Not worried at all.

I wish I would have gotten in that money league. I'd be whippin' ya'll like I am in the BGP league.

I gotta say that while I can. My team is known to implode...

With that said...since I'm last on the waiver wire, I don't care what he posts for now.

He needed to be picked up a week or two ago and for some reason he's still available in a ton of leagues from what I understand. Hammertime and I were all over him in our respective leagues.
