Waited over a month to come forward? Better have a good reason for the delay or else their testimony will be extremely suspect.

I agree. Although with how shotty of a job the police did with their initial investigation, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they didn't even look for witnesses.

I've read several posters discuss the poor investigation initially done by the police. What exactly did they do or not do that resulted in the conclusion that the investigation was done poorly? Where are you getting that information from and how sure are you that it is accurate?

I've been reading numerous articles and links from the various national news palces (CNN, Fox, MSN, etc.).
Seems they didn't really do any investigating. Pretty much took Zimmerman's statement as truth and that was that.

Funeral home director says no signs of cuts or bruises on Trayvon's hands and no signs of any thing on his body that would indicate he had been hitting anyone.

The same would apply for the Zimmerman witness that popped up early this week also.
The first witness to say that Zimmerman was being attacked by Trayvon.

The police generally don't release a lot of information from their investigations in cases like this. What makes you think CNN, Fox, MSN even know what they've done?
As for your last statement...aren't there article saying the lead investigator wanted to charge him but the prosecutor said no?

In watching it again it does appear the officer checks out the back of Zimmerman's head.

If true, I don't see how they could get away with it, plus why even do that.

They still have the funeral director saying there is no indication of any altercation.

It is hard to believe anyone right now, so many stories out there, only 1 person knows and he ain't going to admit to anything.
Here is Trayvon in a different way he is being seen by the media and some on here. I think the pict of him is when he was 12 yrs old. But look at him now.
Was Trayvon Martin a Drug Dealer?

Seems there is more "doctored" coverage of this incident. But, we all know that most of the mainstream press have no agenda, right?
NBC to do ‘internal investigation’ on Zimmerman segment - Erik Wemple - The Washington Post They obviously altered it to fit their template, no surprise here.

I haven't read the article you posted and probably won't. Even if Trayvon was the biggest drug dealer in Orlando it still appears as if he died a senseless death. At the very least he was unarmed.

Amazing, I can't believe the media is so biased and stupid. No wonder everyone don't know what to believe.

That cool, I just got tired of media showing what he looked like when he was 12 instead of how he looked today. It is still a senseless death, your right.

Why does the media still have to refer Zimmerman as a white Hispanic, does it really matter now. I thought he was an American.
When Tiger Woods was in his adultery mess what would the media portrayed his background.
Father, Earl Woods, was a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army. Mother, Kultida Woods, is a native of Thailand. Earl was half black, one-quarter American Indian, and one-quarter Chinese. Kultida is half Thai, one-quarter Chinese, and one-quarter white.
It don't matter, a kid was killed by a person, plain and simple, the media only fuels the flames of racism.

I don't believe they just popped up this week. We just started hearing their statements again this week. I saw an article that was written not long after this happened and it had witness statements saying Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman hitting him.
