We are only talking about two of the four free throws because the two technicals can be shot by whoever the coach wants to send to the line
Yes we are for sure the coaches knew. Again, I am not stating my opinion I just thought it was a grey area and a fine line. As well as I thought there was a rule about it.

I have to agree with @Clyde....bad day for 3 officials. No way one of them shouldn't have picked up the shooter and relayed to rest of crew.
The player fouled stayed in the game and if they could not shoot, wouldn't the sub player have to shoot the free throws anyway? referring to the personal foul ones not the T

If the fouled player stayed in the game that player shoots. You can't bring in a sub in that case.

If this happened then we have a whole lot of rule kickin' going on....nothing about this situation seems to have been administered correctly.

For sure. The real fouled player stayed in the game. A previous post said are we sure it wasn't a medical situation. Meaning the player that was really fouled had to exit the game. My point was that didn't happen, they didn't come out but even if they did come out for being hurt, the sub has to shoot the throws.

Why would a ref ever ask a coach who got fouled? Never heard of that.
