I read several Sergeants were ordered to falsify the records and wouldn't, then they were transferred to not so desirable duties.

Hatz posted that a few posts up. If true, and if they transferred/disciplined trainers that would not sign off on the falsified training documents there should be several members of the sheriff's department going to jail for a long, long time.

Report says real police officers had concerns/issues with the reserve officer in 2009. His response was "go see the sheriff if you have a problem with me."

Geez, this doesn't sound like it's going to end well for the department.

There are more heads than just this guy's who are going to roll, as well there should be. Falsifying records and the like is no small deal and it sounds like there were some institutional problems that are going to drag lots of people into this.

Did they ever show his gun belt? Most officers have their taser on the opposite side as a cross drawl for this exact reason. You really shouldn't be able to accidentally end up with your gun when going for the taser.
