We had that division though and people wanted it to change. So we would be back where we started. It is fine with me, but the KHSAA makes more money if it is an all Louisville Final.

It wasn't very popular when I played. They thought it would solve the big school problem and everyone hated it. What if we divided the schools into 5 divisions instead of 4?

The Guru made some good points early in this forum regarding the whole public/private debate, and the fact that if the KHSAA is truly serious about "leveling the playing field" the first step they need to take would be to divide basketball and other sports into classes, as they have with football.

I for one would seriously regret this.

Everyone who I've spoken with in Indiana regrets their state's adoption of the class system in basketball in the 1997-98 season. No more "Hoosiers" No more "Jimmy Chitwoods" no more romance and Cinderella stories. Just four classes of equally populated schools duking it out for four separate state titles.

Get a little insight and quit thinking so smally.

It is about Louisville AND about Football!!!
