    Is the Playing Field UNEVEN?

I have read a lot about how Prop 20 isn't the way to go.

    Please vote in the poll.

You don't have to explain (I REALLY DON'T WANT YOU TO).

But a general consensus--not based on Prop 20 would be interesting.

The playing field is and will always uneven. Kicking out the non-public schools will just change the parameters of what makes the field uneven.

    To pretend otherwise is naive.

Ditto! It doesn't fix anything. Just makes a bigger dividing line, that is all.

Oldbird summarizes whta I was going to say. I'm against Prop 20, but it is a fact that the field is uneven. That should just mean that winning at a disadvantage is sweeter.

The playing field is uneven, but not in the way that the Prop. 20 proponents thing. To fix the inequity problem, you have to improve the public schools in every way imaginable, eliminate poverty, get parents involved with their students and schools and make schools a place where kids feel safe and WANT to be. You can't fix the problem by breaking the model.

I wouldn't say it is uneven but Henderson's field definitely has a crown in it.
