This should be a boom for the private owned gun store, but with great power comes great responsibility.

FWIW, didn’t we ban sudafed for certain age groups.
Walmart stopped selling these types of guns back in 2015. Bass Pro/Cabela’s is the only major retailer that does still sell these guns.

I really don’t have an opinion on 18 or 21 or whatever age is appropriate to buy a gun. But what gets me is that people want a change in what is happening across America but don’t want to change to help make change.

Again, Dicks stopped back in 2012-2013. They just wanted free advertising today.

...or they stopped selling them in their Field and Stream stores, which they also own.

Yesteryear it was cake, today it is a gun, what will it be tomorrow, next week, next year?
I imagine some 19 year old will walk into Dick's very soon, ask to purchase a gun, and then when told no, lawyer up and try to make some cash in a lawsuit...it's gonna happen soon IMO...

I agree with both of these.

No, in their actual Dicks stores all they have is shotguns and .22’s. Been that way forever in Cincy at least.

The issue isn't that they decided not to carry the scary looking guns. The issue is that they have declared they won't sell other guns to those that can legally purchase them.

Exactly... What are you suing them for?

If I go to Enterprise at 21 and they won't rent me a car until I'm 25, can I sue them? Or should I just go to Budget where I can rent one at 21?
