An EMT's job is to perform initial life saving techniques when called to a scene; dispensing narcan falls into their job description as it's a non-invasive procedure. That's the job they signed up for and they should be the ones called to administer this drug.

Apply a tax lean to the SSN of the person who Narcan was used on. If they file and get a return we got some money back. If they don't then so be it, it's already free to begin with. Is this not a possible option to force people to pay for it?

Good in theory, but then you have to have regulations on it, and compliance, will end up costing 4 times as much to account for what is used and billed, then what was actually used.

I like his idea too. The government has a way of making simple ideas overwhelmingly impossible. My sister once said that if a Catholic nun ran the government, it would be efficient and on budget. I think that is so true.

This is scary. A man overdoses in a fuel truck. Police found him on the floorboard with the motor running. This is essentially driving a bomb.

Was in court the other day and they had a guy in there for heroin possession. They found it in the cab of his 18 wheeler during a vehicle inspection. It was for personal use and not trafficking.
