Cincy Moeller has a quarter-page ad running..........

.........on the Cincinnati Post sports page all week.

No mention of sports though. Just mentions Open House and laptops and school spirit and religious values.

Above it is an ad for a Ohio State Champion Poker Tournament with a first prize of $25,000 and a payout of $50,000. Proceeds to the Milford High Boosters.

    I just found it interesting.

I don't think ads accompany the pages on the Internet. Saw the ad last night. Impressive that every student gets a laptop. WOW. Ours would be sold somewhere and claims of them being stolen would be made.

You don't "get" a laptop. You pay for it one way or another. Moeller has been requiring incoming Frosh to have the PCs for quite a few years now. I don't know how they do it now, but you used to take it with you after 4 years and they had all your work on it.

Oh and Cincinnati Ursuline Academy (Girls Only) is also advertising very heavily in Northern Kentucky publications.

Not that it is really relevant but all incoming freshman at Daviess County Public Schools are being issued laptops as well.
