Chick-Fil-A is anti-gay marriage
Mark Pettit: Holy Cow, What a Mess: Chick-fil-A and Its Public Relations Crisis
The secret is out. Chick-Fil-A is anti-gay. Will you still eat there?
I am a tolerant individual. I don't hate gay people and I wish they could get married.
I love Chick-Fil-A and will continue to eat there when the mood strikes. Some of my Facebook friends will be boycotting. I figure if I boycott every restaurant or business owner who has beliefs different than mine then I'd probably walk around naked, with no car or any food. Probably just drink a lot of water.
Anyone else boycotting after Chick-Fil-A's surprising(sarcasm) announcement?

That is a mental image I didn't need...
And how stupid can some companies be!?

Of course I'll still eat there. Great sandwiches and milk shakes. Who cares what their beliefs are with regards to anything. I'm there to eat, not get a bible sermon.

I don't believe I've ever eaten at the place.

Are they still closed on Sundays?

Ate there once or twice many years ago. Not being open on Sundays made it problematic for me - that's when we often went shopping out of town.
And there are lots of places to get a chicken sandwich. To each his own.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. That Oreo shake is the best shake I have ever had.

Why Dan Cathy chose to express his true feelings as a representation of Chick-Fil-A is strange. I wonder how this will affect business.

I'm sure they will lose their bowl game. Just wouldn't be prudent for the NCAA to take their money, now would it??

That's a great question. I would think they'll lose it.

Looks to me that he's anti gay marriage. Do you have to be for gay marriage to not be considered anti gay? Seems to me there are people who are ok with gay unions but resist calling it a marriage due to religious reasons. Since he's obviously a religious man I have no problem with him on this. Don't think it's very smart but then again, neither is closing on Sundays.
But Dan Cathy, president of the popular fast food chain Chick-fil-A, has done just that, saying on a radio show that “we’re inviting God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at him and say we know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage. And I pray God’s mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude that thinks we have the audacity to redefine what marriage is all about.”

True. While I personally believe being anti-gay marriage is still anti-gay I do recognize the difference in saying anti-gay and anti-gay marriage. I changed the thread title since Dan Cathy is knowingly anti-gay marriage.

Mostly choice. It's not that I dislike chicken, but as Papa said, I can get that just about anywhere.

You obviously haven't had a Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich. They invented the chicken sandwich. There is no chicken sandwich like this chicken sandwich. There isn't a greater chicken sandwich in the world. In. The. World.

But the first thread title sounded like their new jingle.

So you're saying their chicken is pretty good?

It did rhyme didn't it.
Something Charlie would write up on Two and Half Men.
